Vanessa Patino is both a Licensed Behavior Analyst in the state of New York and a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst. Vanessa has
over 10 years of experience working with individuals with ASD. She has worked at Behavioral Intervention Psychological Services, PC
since 2016, where she started off as a fellow and completed her master's degree in applied Behavior Analysis from Queens College,
City University of New York in 2018. Vanessa has experience supporting individuals across a wide age range, from 3 years to 25 years old.
She currently provides case supervision to clients across settings, while also providing RBT supervision to trainees. Being a
PEERS Certified Provider, she is specifically interested in social skills training. Vanessa has experience providing social skills
training in a 1:1 arrangement, dyad arrangement, as well as in a group format. She is passionate about delivering social skills
instruction in a group format following the PEERS model for school-aged children, teens, and young adults. Vanessa is also a certified
QBS Safety-Care Trainer, providing staff with comprehensive instruction in proactive behavior supports, de-escalation techniques, and
safe physical intervention procedures. This approach emphasizes safety, dignity, and the use of least-restrictive practices.
